I wasn’t actually serious, I was a chicken, and had no intention of sneaking out with him, but for some peculiar reason, I played it off as if I was completely serious and willing to go out with him.

So, Thursday comes, and we talked on the phone when everybody went to bed, as usual.

*At this point, in my mind, I was still not going out in the middle of the night with some dude, I was just saying I will*

*We talk some more*

And guess what? The girl who honestly truly genuinely thought that she will not, did.

I went downstairs, and to the backyard and gave him a call.

‘7abebe I can’t open the little door, it’s locked’

I walked out the gate and into the sikka in front of our house, with my Skittles clenched in my hand.

‘Enzain, umm nazil eljamh’

I was standing a few meters away from his car, with phone still in hand, talking to him

‘Umm, Ok’

‘Yalla dshee’ *opens the passenger door*

In I get.

‘Sorry 5ayast your car trab’ (I was barefoot)

‘Here’s your candy’

I was freaking out, I was looking right out the window, as if he wasn’t there. That dude was staring at me so much I was actually afraid haha. He wouldn’t take his eyes off me. He grabs my hand. He holds them and doesn't let go.

‘Are you cold? Ha, bardanh, baga9ir 3lal mkayif’

*Silent, still, staring out the window*

‘Enzain .. wain boosty?’

He was kissing my hands, non-stop.

I stare at him.

‘Ok’ *tiny peck on the cheek*

I go home, close the main gate, sneak in from bab elmeelas. I stop by the mirror at the bottom of the stairs to check myself out. I looked pretty. My long dark hair was in cute natural locks, and my fringe was pinned up. I was wearing a turquoise Hello Kitty pajama from H&M, it looked like I didn't make an effort, and to be honest, I didn't.

‘Fdaitch wallah, makint adry ench 7lwa lhadrjah, okay I knew you weren’t ugly bs maknt adry thissss pretty!’ He said later that night.
